Women's super-G scrapped due to St. Moritz weather
ST. MORITZ, Switzerland — Strong winds have forced the cancellation of a women's World Cup super-G race on the Corviglia course Saturday.
After the start was delayed by one hour, just six racers were sent down a shortened course before organizers called a halt.
Three skied out at the same tricky right-hand turn and Slovenia's Marusa Ferk limped away from a crash seeming to have injured her left knee.
Organizers hope a rescheduled race can be run Monday. S-Magazine
