The 10th anniversary season at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort has proven to be one of the biggest snow years in resort history.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary season, the Sun Splash Funk Festival has been expanded over all three weekends, with live music, patio parties and classic spring events every weekend. The Sun Splash Funk Festival festivities begin on Friday, April 9.

The Dogtooth Dash will kick off the spring excitement on March 26 and 27 as the first ever North American Open Ski Mountaineering Race. This year’s race introduces three separate categories, including a friendly poker run, designed for skiers who are new to ski touring, and a new short track team relay will be introduced on Sunday, March 27.   

This year’s purse includes $1,000 cash and a huge assortment of prizes.

With a great lineup of spring celebrations, an extended season and new spring season pass sale, the winter season is going to finish off in style.
