ASPEN, Colorado — Dustin Cook capped a week to remember with another podium in the men's super-G at the Nor-Am Cup in Aspen, Colorado.
The 22-year-old, of Lac Sainte-Marie, Que., who won Tuesday's Nor-Am downhill and the U.S. national championship downhill a day later, finished third in Friday's super-G.
"He did a great job on the top. He was definitely skiing for the win and made a mistake at the bottom," said men's coach Kip Harrington. "He was doing everything he could."
Friday's race was won by Ryan Cochran-Siegle of the USA in a time of 1 minute, 19.35 seconds. Brennan Rubie of the USA was second in 1:19.71, followed by Cook in 1:19.81.
